When I was in middle school, my best friend’s mom took us to get pumpkin muffins at Dunkin Donuts. Between the silliness of two young teenage girls and her mother, somehow pumpkin muffins managed to become somewhat of an inside joke for years to come. I haven’t seen her mom in a while, but I still mentioned the pumpkin muffins when I wished her a happy birthday this year!
Needless to say, pumpkin muffins hold a special place in my heart.
