I decided to put together little cookie tins for some co-workers for Christmas. I figured I would do the traditional recipes: chocolate chip, peanut butter blossoms, and mint crinkle cookies. However, it turns out that one of them doesn’t like chocolate! Crazy, right?
I was hit with the hard reality that I rarely ever bake without chocolate because doesn’t everything taste better with chocolate? So I had to think of a fun and easy cookie recipe without chocolate.
I originally planned to make my mom’s jam thumbprint cookie recipe, but instead I decided to kill two birds with one stone! I’d make the thumbprint cookies with caramel for one person and add a delicious chocolate drizzle for everyone else.
On many things idl chocolate!!!!
